The structure of 29300 series spherical roller thrust bearing features self-aligning, and can accommodate misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing which can be caused by shaft deflection ect (Fig.8).
The permissible misalignment is reduced as the load increases. Guideline values for misalignment and rotation of the shaft washer relative to the housing washer listed in table 1.
When designing bearing arrangements with rotating housing washer in combination with misalignment or when the shaft wobbles relative to the housing, contact JCB. Whether these values can be fully exploited depends on the design of the bearing arrangement and the external sealing design ect.
